I became a therapist because I believe no one should have to carry their heaviest experiences alone. I have always been drawn to the moments when we stop pretending everything is fine and allow ourselves to be seen. For me, therapy is not about fixing what is “broken.” It is about understanding who you are, what has shaped you, and who you want to become.
You may be tired of holding everything together. Perhaps you are navigating a major life transition or feeling caught between who others need you to be and who you truly are. Perfectionism, people pleasing, and overfunctioning may be affecting your confidence and inner peace, leaving you with an emptiness that is difficult to explain even when you are meeting everyone else’s expectations.
Born in India and raised in Canada, I know firsthand what it can feel like to move between different cultural realities. I understand the sometimes exhausting balance between the traditions and expectations of home and community and the world outside of them. This experience has shaped how I understand identity, belonging, and the ways our cultural and family roots influence how we relate to ourselves and others.
I support individuals who want to understand deeply rooted patterns, work through relational wounds, and feel more grounded in their daily lives. Together, we may explore past experiences, cultural or intergenerational trauma, and old narratives that continue to leave you feeling stuck. We may also build practical tools for managing overwhelming emotions, setting boundaries, and navigating challenges as they arise.
Your story is entirely your own, but you do not have to move forward alone. When you are ready, I am here to walk alongside you.
I work with intergenerational and cultural trauma, gender roles and expectations, pregnancy and postpartum challenges, addictions, anxiety and panic attacks, depression, relational wounds, complex life transitions, perfectionism, people pleasing, self-esteem, confidence, identity, and belonging.
I offer therapy in English, Punjabi, and Hindi. Depending on your needs, I may draw from EMDR, parts work, attachment-focused and polyvagal approaches, somatic work, mindfulness, CBT, and DBT.
