I believe meaningful change begins when you have the space to understand what has been keeping you stuck and begin moving toward a life that feels more intentional, fulfilling, and true to who you are.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, or disconnected from yourself. Perhaps you are recovering from childhood or relational trauma, struggling in your relationships, considering a career change, or trying to find your footing during a major life transition. You may know that something needs to change but feel unsure of where to begin.
Many of the people I support have spent years putting other people’s needs first. You may recognize yourself in patterns of people-pleasing, perfectionism, overthinking, or difficulty setting boundaries. You might carry guilt when prioritizing yourself, question your worth, or feel pressure to keep everything together even when you are exhausted underneath.
Culture, family, identity, and belonging can also influence how we understand ourselves and the choices we feel able to make. I support clients navigating cultural expectations, conflicting identities, family pressures, and the experience of trying to build a life that feels authentic while remaining connected to the people and communities that matter to them.
My approach to therapy is outcome-focused, goal-oriented, and intentional. We will work together to understand the experiences and patterns affecting you today, clarify what you want to change, and identify practical steps that can help you move forward.
You are the expert on your own life. I see you as creative, resourceful, and whole, even when difficult experiences have made it hard to recognize those qualities within yourself. My role is not to tell you who to become. It is to walk beside you, offer thoughtful insights, and help you access the strengths and possibilities that may feel out of reach right now.
Our work may involve processing painful experiences from the past, understanding how early relationships continue to shape you, and noticing the emotional or behavioural patterns you have developed to protect yourself. It may also involve learning practical ways to regulate difficult emotions, communicate your needs, establish boundaries, and make decisions with greater clarity and confidence.
I support clients experiencing trauma and complex trauma, including PTSD and C-PTSD, childhood and relational trauma, sexual abuse and sexualized violence, anxiety, depression, shame, guilt, low self-worth, emotional regulation difficulties, grief, chronic pain, and major life transitions.
I also work with clients navigating attachment and relationship concerns, parenting and family challenges, career-related stress, burnout, identity and cultural navigation, eating disorders, substance use, compulsive behaviours, mood disorders, personality disorders, and questions related to meaning, purpose, and mortality.
Depending on your needs, our work may draw from EMDR Therapy, Internal Family Systems and parts work, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Polyvagal-informed Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Therapy, schema work, and Gestalt techniques.
I work with individuals, couples, families, teens, and children. I welcome clients seeking care that is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, LGBTQ-affirming, client-centred, and culturally responsive.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading about philosophy and psychology, singing, going on long drives, and visiting cafés. I bring my full, human self to this work and am genuinely invested in helping you create a life you feel proud of.
